Hello Casey’s Class,

In today’s session I’ll be chatting about my experience making a blog and some of my thoughts. First off, it was a whole lot easier than I thought. I followed some easy steps and now here I am in the blogging world… we’ll see how this goes.  If you’re thinking of making a blog yourself.. well good luck because I have been sitting in front of my computer for 20 minutes just trying to come up with something clever to say. I think blogs are a great way to get your thoughts out into the world and to give you a bit of hope that someone out there is listening. Even if it’s your mom, nice job you just got your first follower! I mean who knows, maybe you’ll become an internet sensation or maybe your blog will be a way to express your thoughts and feelings into the world of unknown.

As a teacher I believe that pursing a blog for whatever reason it may be is a great way to express your true self. It gives you the opportunity to purse your passions, talk about what interests you, or to just chat about what’s going on in your life. Blogs are also a great way to use a pseudonym so you can keep your blog private. If you are worried about what people might think then throw in a funny name and write away with no pressure from the outside world. The only precaution I will warn you about before setting up a blog is really thinking about what you are putting out into the world. Yes, I encourage you all to dig deep and express yourself but remember that what you put out into the world can’t be taken down. Have fun but always be aware!
